For the past twenty years Peter has been working as a freelance illustrator.
Over this time he has developed a very recognisable style influenced by a love for mid century design, folk art and vintage print.
Peter's work is used extensively throughout advertising and branding as well as being a successful children's book author and illustrator.
As an exhibition curator he has been the driving force behind some of the most successful Irish illustration shows in recent times including The Illustrated Beatles, 2012, The Art of Superstition, 2013, and PINUPS A Tribute to David Bowie 2017.
Awards include 3x3: The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration, Creative Quarterly: The Journal of Art & Design, American Illustration and the IDI Institute of Designers Ireland. He has been a featured artist in the Taschen Illustration Now series as well as being shortlisted for the Gradam Réics Carló, the Young People’s Book of the Year Award.
